Edit(Aug19/2009) I give permission for :iconchinart-club: to post this on their galery.

I want to submit this onto :icondeathofrats:'s contest for fantasy/mythological figures. It doesn't have sparkly colors and complex patterns like the other entries, but I suppose it will do =) just to get some views

=========

Wu Song is a sorta mythological figure from "The Water Margin" series, a chinese novel series.
(wiki link [link])

Wu Song was going home from somewhere far away. It was nearly night when he passed an inn on the side of the road. The Inn had a plaque saying something like "three bowls will get you drunk" (because Chinese people at the time drank alchohol with bowls, it basically meant that the store had real strong liquor). Wu Song, being a strong martial artist, full of pride, and great alchoholic torerance, decided to try it out. He went in, and asked for alchohol and meat.
The owner of the Inn did so, but was a bit reluctant with the alchohol when he heard about Wu Song's travel plan. He told Wu Song that there was a tiger in the Mountains ahead, the Tiger has eaten about 30 people already. It was getting dark, and he thought it would be better if Wu Song stayed for the night and crossed the mountain with company in the morning.
Wu Song insisted on getting his alchohol, and crossing alone. The owner watched with surprise Wu Song dring about 12 big bowls of "Jiu". Feeling good, Wu Song then prosegued in this journey.
As he entered the mountains, he suddently started feeling the alchohol going onto his head, for it was a type strong and slow to react. He sat down near a rock, laying his staff nearby him. He was starting to get sleepy when he heard sounds in the trees. He sat up, grabbing his staff, suddently alert, but dizzy. Then he saw the Tiger: A HUGE one too. It growled and leaped at him.
The alchohol dizzyness vanished, and his staff snapped as he used it to protect himself. He wrestled with the Tiger, eventually getting on top of it. Grabing its head, he pounded it heavily with his hard trained fists. After quite a few powerful blows, the tiger stoped moving.
Wu Song then was also a bit hurt with scratches. He was about to drag the tiger with him when two Tiger hunters passing by heard the tumult and came onto where Wu Song was. Ar first confused, and then understanding what happened, they helped Wu Song get to his town, where he was wrapped up with the fur of the tiger he killed, and praised with great renoum.

His story is something like that =) My Father used to tell me their stories when I was little. I wonder if I will try to draw one of the other 108 heros from the story...

And Yes, I did get lazy drawing the Tiger >_>", and Yes, I know there are quite a few problems with the picture.
But still, lemme know what ya think! =D
